This type of equipment never does anything except for those emergency situations where it needs to save your property. These are the moments where you want it to work as advertised and not create more problems then the water could do. Safe and dependable power electronics is a niche. The design, the manufacturing traceability, the compliance testing to national standards of this unit is the most you can do to reduce your risks when choosing a system like that.
Ordering on online was easy. Delivery was fast. There was a little confusion for me on which set of DC cables were supplied. I mistakenly ordered an extra set of DC cables. You don’t need that; everything is in the box.
Installation was super easy. I am powering a 1/3 HP pump. I got the Marine 12 volts battery at Canadian Tyre along with a battery cover box. It works seamlessly.
So easy to set up and so much better than a backup with a second smaller pump. Not had occasion to test it yet, but it is working and I trust it will do the job if it is ever called on to do so.
